Break Spring, break her!

yeah so i went to san carlos, mexico. my first time out of merica, i think. we left saturday midday and returned on tuesday. two full days there. i went with matt duthie, tony and katrina (rita). my legs got sunburned the most on the day we went kyacking in the ocean and two seals popped their cute water-dog heads up to check out what the hell we were. we went probably a half a mile out into the water, unsupervised. good.

we slept on the beach the night we arrived there. in tents and with sleeping bags and we cooked rice and onions and had some tecate. the next two nights we slept at this condo where matt had some friends who were down for the week. i went to this bar one of the nights that was pretty much american. there was live music and i requested that they not play so many damned american songs. they played better music and everyone danced more and enjoyed themselves. matt had a canada sweater on and a few canadians who were there asked him periodically throughout the night about. they received mixed answers from us. the drive took awhile both ways. the second time i-17 up to flag was closed off for a couple hours due to 'winter conditions'

i am going snowboarding tomorrow. i'm pretty excited. the snow isn't too bad up there on the mountain i hear.

leah's coming and spring's show is coming up! righteous.

there's a free show tonight at applesauce teahouse which i'll hopefully get off work early enough to see. david rovics is playing.

my computer's working out nicely. i like it lots.

work is standard, not too bad. and school is the same, though i'll need to start writing all these long papers for all my classes pretty soon here.
