Thanks In Phx

fratelli pizza has moved to its new location, and it is pretty annoying right now. i know it takes a while to adjust but there is a lot not yet figured out there still. a new system has yet to be established. so we'll see if it improves and if i get a raise for the increase in work i'm expected to do. tonight's my first closing shift.

anyway. i went to phoenix for thanksgiving. with my chum matt and his gf Rene. to matt's family's grandma's house. it was pretty fo'in awkward at first, nothing to really say. but eventually that passed with the wine and card games. good food too. matt's grandmother, dorothy, gave me one of her sweet old kitchen glasses that i had commented on. at first i was hesitant to take it, but she insisted it was cool and matt did too. matt and i (rene was there too, but asleep) watched naked gun 33 1/3 after everyone had crept off to bed. which was wonderful of course.

i'm really looking forward to the shinanigans coming on the 27th of December.

not lenae, but holly's other older daughter recently added me as a myspace friend. i noticed, in a constructive way, that she has bad grammar on her page.

my roommate zach's family came up yesterday (friday the day after thursday). his dad has these two nice guitars which he brought. one of them is a really expensive Taylor that he got like a month ago. the other one is this 30-something-year-old Yamaha that sounds and handles real nice. i got to enjoy both of them last night in front of a fire in a metal drum in our yard. i put a nickel in the fire. the nickel is probably black now.
